Our wipe clean tablecloth offers a unique table covering; a wipe clean and machine washable tablecloth that has the appearance of a traditional linen tablecloth. With its low sheen and elegant drape, our smart yet practical tablecloth offers a brilliant alternative to plastic tablecloth. So, introducing the first of our How-to guides outlining how to care for our wipe clean table cloth and help you get the best from your tablecloth.

1.Wipe Immediately After Use

Our tablecloth is a linen fabric. It is coated with two coats of acrylic to create the wipe clean surface. Wipe with a damp cloth straight after use. A cloth dampened with water is fine or use a standard antibacterial kitchen surface spray should you so wish. Do not use cleaning products containing bleach as these will mark the cloth.

2. Stains We Know Wipe Away

After extensive use in our own home and feedback received from customers over many years, we know these culprits wipe off: Tomato ketchup, tomato sauce, Bolognese sauce, tea, coffee, newsprint, crayon, felt tip (non permanent!), red wine, and orange juice/cordial

3. And one we know doesn't

As with many surfaces, the turmeric in curry will stain the tablecloth and we recommend not bringing an Indian takeaway into contact with the tablecloth.

4. Machine Washing

Wash on a standard 30° cycle. Use your normal washing detergent.

5. Drying

Line dry or dry on a radiator. The tablecloth is not suitable for tumble drying.

6. Ironing

The tablecloth can be ironed on the reverse side (non coated) of the fabric.

7. Ensure you use the correct side up

It sounds obvious but ensure you place the tablecloth on the table coated side up. The uncoated side has a slightly rougher feel to the wipe clean coated side.
